Father John Misty has unveiled a sprawling, free-roamin' country cover of his own "Pure Comedy" single. It's called "Pure Country".
"Now libs and chuds each have their own version to weaponize..." Misty writes in the blurb on YouTube. The seven-minute take - the title track from his latest record - comes complete with dusty licks and a sleepy drawl from Misty.
In other FJM news, at End Of The Road Festival last month for a stellar headline slot Misty told NME that his next album is "pretty much done".
