El-P gives update on Run The Jewels 4, says it's "hard as f*ck"
El-P - one half of rap duo Run The Jewels - has given an update on their Run The Jewels 4 album, saying it's "hard as fuck".
The last we heard about the duo's follow up to 2016's Run The Jewels 3 was back in December 2018, when El-P said "it’s not even close to done".
Nearly a year on, and El-P has revealed a bit more about Run The Jewels 4. A fan asked how far along the duo are on their new album on Twitter last week, to which El-P replied, "very far along but not mixed/done yet plus gotta clear samples and shit so prolly out earlyish next year realistically. the good news is it’s hard as fuck."

The same day El-P shared some lyrics from one of their new songs, "you’d think the universe forgot us the way the accursed pitch their product... as though our spirits not a fire that can’t be snuffed or turned to dollars"- RTJ4."

In a separate tweet, El-P added, "i can also say at this point RTJ4 is about 11 jams, it’s under 40 minutes and not a second is wasted ; ). hopefully that helps tide the curious over for a minute while we finish up. big thanks to everyone waiting."
