
EFG London Jazz Festival announces 2020 programme featuring live shows and virtual events
EFG London Jazz Festival has revealed the full programme for this year's event, which will take place over a variety of live shows and virtual events.
This year's edition of the EFG London Jazz Festival will be Living in Two Worlds due to the coronavirus pandemic, and will take place across 50 livestreams and 100 live shows.
Artists including Nathaniel Facey, Shirley Tetteh, Moses Boyd, James Holden with Waclaw Zimpel, GAIKA with Azekel & Miink, Cassie Kinoshi’s SEED ENSEMBLE, Shabaka Hutchings and Britten Sinfonia will take part in the live shows, spaced out across London venues including Cadogan Hall, Shoreditch Town Hall, Church of Sound, The Jazz Café, Café OTO and more.
Armenian piano maestro Tigran Hamasyan and jazz bassist Linda Oh have been confirmed for the livestream events so far, as well as an exclusive concert filmed in Paris by Vincent Peirani and Emile Parisien.
