Chicago's Dehd have delivered new cut "Stars" as the second taster of their upcoming album Blue Skies.
After announcing Blue Skies with the lead single "Bad Love" last month, Dehd have unveiled a second outing from the record titled "Stars".
Pitchfork reports that Dehd's Emily Kempf said the song is about "reaching past the boundaries of understanding our personal comfort," while Jasson Balla added, "When I get too overwhelmed and I feel like my heart’s gonna break from all the sadness in this world I go for a walk. The familiar streets of home pull me back to earth."
Dehd's follow-up to 2020's Flower of Devotion saw the Chicago band work with mixing engineer Craig Silvey (The Rolling Stones, The National, Arcade Fire) and mastering engineer Heba Kadry (Slowdive, Bjork, Cate Le Bon).
