Damon Albarn says Blur have recorded 15 new songs but “no new album”

Blur frontman Damon Albarn went on record about the possibility of a new album from his band last night at the NME Awards, revealing that although they’ve indeed recorded new material, this may not actually mean an entire LP is on the way.
“Just because you record 15 ideas doesn’t mean that you’ve got an album,” Albarn told NME reporters. You can watch that full interview below.
Meanwhile, Damon’s solo album Everyday Robots is out on 28 April.
