Damien Jurado has unveiled "Throw Me Now Your Arms" from his forthcoming acoustic album In the Shape of a Storm.
The new single is the third to be lifted from his new record, arriving after "Lincoln" and "South".
In the Shape of a Storm will be Jurado's first album since last year's The Horizon Just Laughed.
Jurado's upcoming record was recorded in two hours at a studio in California, with only occasional contributions from Josh Gordon. Jurado says of the acoustic nature, "It just felt like it was time."
It's also the first since his friend and collaborator Richard Swift passed away last year. Jurado adds, "His absence is very much felt on this record."
"Throw Me Now Your Arms" is out now. In the Shape of a Storm arrives 12 April via Loose. Damien Jurado will tour North America next month. Find out more.
