Daft Punk release 25th anniversary edition of debut album one year on from split
Exactly one year since announcing their split, Daft Punk returned with the 25th anniversary edition of their debut album Homework, and hosted a one-off livestream of a 1997 concert which saw the dup perform without helmets.
Yesterday (22 February) marked the one-year anniversary since Daft Punk's split, and the duo decided to gift fans with the digital 25th anniversary edition of their 1997 debut album Homework.
As well as releasing the 25th anniversary version of Homework, which features numerous remixes, the duo streamed a one-off concert from 1997 on Twitch, which was recorded before Daft Punk started wearing helmets. Pitchfork reports that a representative said the concert will only be streamed once.
Daft Punk will also release the 25th anniversary edition of Homework on vinyl in April with a vinyl reissue of their live album Alive 1997.
