
Charli XCX reveals her next album will be "kind of a continuation of Pop 2"
Charli XCX has given a brief update on her next album, revealing it's "kind of a continuation of Pop 2."
Pop 2 landed back in 2017, and featured some huge names including Carl Ray Jepsen, Kim Petras, ALMA, Tove Lo, MØ, and more.
Revealing an update on her new album on socials, Charli XCX wrote, "i am working on new music and things are coming this year. i know i’m slow sometimes but i want things perfect. this new era will be all things Charli. kind of a continuation of pop 2 but also more Charli than ever before. no compromises, my best yet."

Charli XCX hasn't released new music since last year's Troye Sivan collaboration "1999".
Last week she teased her fans over the potential release of "Taxi".
The "Girls Night Out" singer also recently worked with MNEK on TWICE's "Girls Like Us" track.
