
Cardi B returning with new single "UP" this week
Cardi B has announced that she's releasing her first single of 2021 this week, and it's called "UP".
After teasing an announcement on socials, Cardi B has announced her first single of 2021 "UP".
The new track will follow the rapper's appearance on Anitta's "Me Gusta" remix in November 2020, and will be released on Friday (5 February).

Cardi B went on to thank her fans for their support, "I want to thank all my fans and everyone that genuinely support me. I been preparing for this week for over a month. Unfortunately I’m not feeling how I wanted to feel today. I’m very happy that you guys are happy and just know I do this cause ya go so hard for me."

In a second tweet she added, "I’m human and I believe that I’m strong but it’s just too much sometimes. I can’t thank my fans enough for lifting me up and remaining solid it really be too much."

"UP" will mark Cardi B's first outing as a lead artist since "WAP" dropped in August last year.
