Blossoms take fourth place on the BBC Sound Of 2016 shortlist
Indie-rockers Blossoms are fourth place in this year's BBC Sound Of shortlist.
Yesterday, Mura Masa and WSTRN were jointly placed fifth.
Stockport-born Blossoms draw from classic pop and rock influences like The Beatles, but also from the soundtrack to Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and a desire to make people dance. They make fuzzy, feelgood tunes with killer licks and choruses that ooze energy.
Find out more in their BBC interview.
Last year's BBC Sound Of winners were dance-pop trio Years & Years, who went on to release debut album Communion over the summer.
