Blanck Mass returns with new single "No Dice"
Scottish producer Benjamin John Power, aka Blanck Mass, has unveiled new single "No Dice" from his forthcoming album Animated Violence Mild.
"No Dice" is the second single to be lifted from Blanck Mass' Animated Violence Mild record, after "House vs. House" that landed earlier this month.
Offering an explanation on the new single, Power says, ""No Dice" is about denial. It’s the voice in the back of your head stopping you from moving forward, the separation between your head and your heart."
Animated Violence Mild follows on from Blanck Mass' reworking of Editors' 2018 album Violence.
Speaking about the record, Power said, "In this post-industrial, post-enlightenment religion of ourselves, we have manifested a serpent of consumerism which now coils back upon us. It seduces us with our own bait as we betray the better instincts of our nature and the future of our own world. We throw ourselves out of our own garden. We poison ourselves to the edges of an endless sleep."
