Björk announces Somerset House exhibition and one-off London show
Björk is headed to London this summer for a new exhibition at Somerset House and a one-off headline date at the Royal Albert Hall.
The Icelandic icon's kept busy since the release of last year's Vulnicura, releasing multiple alternative versions, won a BRIT, experimented with virtual reality, and more. But there's still lots to come.
Beginning 1 September is the European premiere of Björk Digital, a new two-month "immersive virtual reality" exhibition at Somerset House. Visitors will able able to connect with the art and visual works using VR technology, and will be able to see never-before-seen works from Björk, her Black Lake film, plus a "programme of [her] extensive video work" from throughout her career. Find out more on Somerset House's website.
As part of the exhibition's celebrations, Björk will headline London for the first time since 2013. She'll play the capital's Royal Albert Hall on 21 September - tickets go on sale 22 July at 9am.
