A$AP Rocky isn't allowed to perform for inmates at Swedish prison where he was held
A$AP Rocky has been denied permission to perform a set for inmates at the Swedish prison he served his sentence earlier this year.
The Swedish prison board has confirmed that A$AP Rocky, real name Rakim Mayers, won't be able to perform at the Swedish jail he was held at due to logistical and security reasons.
A$AP Rocky wanted to return to Stockholm’s Kronoberg prison to perform for inmates he met while serving his sentence in summer.
Mayers was arrested in Stockholm in July on suspicion of assault, and was later found guilty. He remained in prison for nearly a month, but didn't have to do any additional jail time after the final verdict.
Back in October, the rapper hinted in an interview with Vogue that his new music will see him speak about his experience in Sweden.
The rapper released his latest single, "Babushka Boi" in August.
