Anna Calvi hints at third album, says she's "very close"
Anna Calvi has hinted that her long-awaited third record is coming soon, saying she's "very close" and that she "can't risk rushing what [she] love[s]."
By the time Calvi's next full-length has arrived it'll be close to half a decade since the release of LP2 One Breath (at least). In 2014 we had the one-off Strange Weather EP, and she's collaborated with the likes of The Invisible as well as playing David Byrne's Meltdown Festival, but Calvi has laid low for a fair old while now.
It looks like we'll get something in 2018 though - writing on Twitter, Calvi teased her next chapter:
All I can do is wear what I create like a coat to cover me and protect me, and the deeper I fall into it's arms the better it holds me. pic.twitter.com/aZXIkHX4RH

I can't risk rushing what I love, but I hope when it finds you, this music I'm making might give you something.
