Remember when Angel Haze paid homage to Eminem’s ‘Cleaning Out My Closet’? Well now it gets even better, as the NY-via-Detroit rapper has just shared her own take on Kanye West’s track ‘New Slaves’.
“My mother was raised in the era when / Crack rock lived in the veins of our heroines,” Haze begins, going on to alter and adjust some of the lines from the original Yeezus album cut to lean more towards female rights and other such social issues.
