Anderson .Paak and Bruno Mars confirm release date for Silk Sonic album
Silk Sonic, the collaborative project of Anderson .Paak and Bruno Mars, have announced a release date for their forthcoming debut album An Evening With Silk Sonic.
So far Silk Sonic have released two singles - July's "Skate" and their March debut outing "Leave the Door Open" - and despite a recent report that the duo were pushing back their debut album until January next year, .Paak and Mars have announced that An Evening With Silk Sonic will be landing next month.
An Evening With Silk Sonic will feature Bootsy Collins as a special guest host, and is set to include nine songs. The full tracklist is yet to be revealed.

.Paak and Mars planted the seeds for Silk Sonic in 2017 during Mars' European 24K Magic world tour, and just before the global pandemic sent much of the world into lockdown, Mars reached out to .Paak, saying, "Remember that idea we had back in 2017? Let’s do it."
