Alison Mosshart to host Jarvis Cocker's BBC 6 Music radio show

BBC Radio 6 Music have confirmed that The Kills singer Alison Mosshart will sit in for Jarvis Cocker in his Sunday afternoon slot next month.
Mosshart will cover Jarvis for three weeks in total, starting on 10 March between 4pm-6pm GMT.
Alison said of the news:
“It’s an honour to get to do these radio shows while Jarvis is out. I’m borrowing his chair here for a moment. I’ll try to look after it, keep it oiled and looking good. Thanks 6 Music for asking me to sit in.”
The Kills last released an album in 2011.
