
Joker film sequel will reportedly be told from perspective of Lady Gaga's Harley Quinn
According to a film critic, the upcoming Joker film sequel Joker: Folie à Deux will be a musical told from the perspective of Harley Quinn, who will be played by Lady Gaga.
Last month Lady Gaga confirmed her involvement with Joker: Folie à Deux by sharing a short animated trailer revealing the 2024 release date.
Joker: Folie à Deux was reported to be a musical-style sequel, and according to US film critic Grace Randolph, the film will be told from the perspective of Lady Gaga's Harley Quinn.
Randolph wrote on Twitter, "Found out today #Joker2 is from #HarleyQuinn’s perspective aka Lady Gaga (& she is playing that character). And that’s why it’s a musical - that’s how this Harley sees things"

Production on Joker: Folie à Deux will reportedly begin in December. The film will be directed by Todd Phillips, who produced A Star Is Born starring Gaga and Bradley Cooper.
Joker: Folie à Deux is due to arrive on 4 October 2024.
