
Jamie xx remixes Oliver Sim's "GMT"
Ahead of his debut album Hideous Bastard arriving next month, Oliver Sim has delivered Jamie xx's remix of his July single "GMT".
Oliver Sim released the original version of "GMT" last month as the fourth preview of his debut solo album Hideous Bastard, and today (22 August) he's unveiled a remix of the track by his xx bandmate Jamie xx, who also produced his upcoming solo record.
Sim's Hideous Bastard album will also feature earlier outings "Hideous", "Fruit" and "Romance With A Memory".
In June Sim was joinned by his other xx bandmate Romy at his debut London show, and also performed a cover of Placebo's "Nancy Boy".
Jamie xx's remix of "GMT" is out now. Oliver Sim's debut solo album Hideous Bastard will follow on 9 September via Young, and is available to pre-order now. He'll play London's KOKO on 30 October. Tickets are on sale now at oliver-sim.com.
