Yesterday evening, David Byrne kicked off his Who Is The Sky? tour in Pittsburgh, and performed "Psycho Killer" for the first time in 19 years.

Earlier this month, David Byrne released Who Is The Sky? his first solo album in seven years. On the first stop of his tour, he visited the Benedum Center for the Performing Arts in Pittsburgh, and amongst some Talking Heads classics such as “Heaven”, “This Must Be The Place (Naive Melody)”, “Slippery People”, and “Burning Down The House,” he performed “Psycho Killer” for the first time in almost two decades.

David Byrne has been collaborating with Paramore vocalist Hayley Williams recently on the track, "What Is The Reason For It?", which features on Who Is The Sky?, and the duo have also collaborated on new original music to soundtrack The Twits – Netflix's forthcoming animated featured inspired by Roald Dahl's children's novel.

On Record Store Day 2024, the pair released an exclusive 12" featuring Paramore's cover of "Burning Down The House" by Talking Heads, which came out on A24's Talking Heads tribute album, Everyone’s Getting Involved, alongside David Byrne's cover of "Hard Times", which was the lead single of Paramore's fifth studio album, After Laughter. During the show in Pittsburgh, he performed a cover of Paramore's "Hard Times".
