Bat For Lashes sings about sleep deprivation on "At Your Feet"
London-based musician and multi-disciplinary artist Natasha Khan, aka Bat For Lashes, has released "At Your Feet", as the fourth single from her forthcoming sixth studio album, The Dream Of Delphi.
"At Your Feet' is accompanied by a stunning music video, drawn from the album’s visual counterpart, The Dream Of Delphi - A New Transmission, a 34-minute film heralding a new era for the three-time Brit Award and Mercury Prize nominee.
“I improvised this song, all the piano and vocoder parts, from start to finish”, says Khan. “The words are all about the hallucinatory state of being sleep deprived in the night, breastfeeding, rocking the baby: so tired, so aware that I almost have no say in this devotional nocturnal practice of caring for my child.”
The Dream of Delphi is set for release on 31 May via Mercury KX.
