Angel Olsen recruits Sturgill Simpson for new version of "Big Time"
Angel Olsen has delivered a new version of her Big Time album title-track which features new contributions from Sturgill Simpson.
Following the release of her Big Time album in May, Olsen has returned with an updated, collaborative version of the album's title-track featuring Sturgill Simpson.
Olsen says of the collaboration, "It’s crazy to write a song and then watch someone else you really admire sing your words, kinda turns the whole thing on its head. I loved the song already but hearing Sturgill’s take on "Big Time" made me smile ear to ear, he made it come alive on a different level."
Back in June Olsen released a cover of Lucinda Williams' "Greenville".
Angel Olsen's updated version of "Big Time" featuring Sturgill Simpson is out now on Jagjaguwar.
