Alice Boman previews new album with fourth outing "Where To Put The Pain"
Alice Boman has delivered new single "Where To Put The Pain" as the fourth taster of her upcoming album The Space Between.
Following last month's Perfume Genius collaboration "Feels Like A Dream", Boman has shared new cut "Where To Put The Pain", which will feature on The Space Between with earlier singles "Maybe" and "Night And Day".
"This song is about dealing with difficult emotions and worries and different kinds of pain," Boman says. "In a world where a lot of things are feeling hopeless and bad things are happening it sometimes gets a bit overwhelming. Sometimes to the point of feeling numb. How do you find a balance in that?"
The Space Between will follow Boman's 2020 debut album Dream On, and saw Boman reunite with Dream On producer Patrik Berger (Robyn, Lana Del Rey) for the new record.
"Where To Put The Pain" is out now. Alice Boman's The Space Between album will arrive via Play It Again Sam on 21 October, and is available to pre-order now. She'll play The Lexington in London on 7 December. Tickets are on sale now from aliceboman.com.
