
Omar Apollo incorporates his Mexican heritage and love of soul on "Heart"
A first-generation Mexican-American singer, Omar Apollo is building a dedicated fanbase with his smooth blend of R&B and soul.
Omar Apollo is a resident of Indiana, works at Guitar Centre, and possesses a timeless vocal quality reminiscent of Usher and Zacari. His new song “Heart” is a collaboration with Blake Slatkin and Bailey Lindley that weaves between moody electronica and Latin pop; sounds that are very much representative of modern America.
The inspiration for the song comes from “"missing somebody’s presence more than the relationship itself. The idea of a relationship is cool but it’s more of the infatuation that causes the illusion of real love, which I don’t think I’ve truly experienced yet."
