Free Download: LCMDF – Douchebag [Best Fit Premiere]
The smart dayglo electro-pop of LCMDF has been an infectious noise in ours ears since we first met them at London’s Ja Ja Ja club night, almost eighteen months back. One of a generous handful of talented Finnish bands getting us excited at the moment, they also graced our exclusive Record Store Day limited vinyl.
New track ‘Douchebag’ sees sisters Mia and Emma Kemppainen raise a smirking middle finger to the song’s subject. Drenched in their trademark pop hooks and playful attitude, the track mines a Rivers Cuomo vibe, with a college-rock shuffling guitar and catchy-as-hell chorus.
The track is a taster for the second in the Finnish sisters’ Mental Health EP Trilogy and it’s available to stream and download free exclusively on Best Fit, via the below:
