Chess Club signee Alfie Templeman drops “Don't Go Wasting Time” and announces his third EP
Rising Bedfordshire teen Alfie Templeman has released “Don't Go Wasting Time” alongside the announcement of his forthcoming third EP of the same name, out next month.
16-year-old Alfie Templeman continues his meteoric indie-pop rise with “Don't Go Wasting Time”, a chipper follow-up to last month's exuberant “Used To Love”.
In-keeping with his signature sprightly guitars and daydreamy vocals, Templeman juxtaposes his new track's endearingly spirited tone with a lyrical theme of teen heartbreak.
“‘Don’t Go Wasting Time’ is a track about breakups and trying to stop yourself from missing someone,” explains Templeman. “The track has a really pretty melody I came up with years ago, it actually started off as a punk song and gained a new title this year when I dug it up.”
He'll be supporting Sports Team on their UK tour this November and December before playing The Line Of Best Fit's Five Day Forecast in January.
