Yellow Days lets it all out on new track "A Little While", taken from his stunning debut EP
Yellow Days (real name George van den Broek) , the 17 year old bedroom producer behind recent tracks “Your Hand Holding Mine” and “Gap In The Clouds”, has just released his debut EP Harmless Melodies, which features previously unheard atmospheric electro-ballad “A Little While”.
Yellow Days’ inimitable bluesy vocals are still the immediate attention grabber on “A Little While”, with the ever present earthy croon rooting the track in a warm and emotional place even as the foot-tapping backbeat and synths betray the inspiration taken from house and electronic music. “A Little While” is music to be played in a smoky bar on a late night, preferably whilst dressed like you’ve just stepped out of the 1920s.
With each new track it’s becoming more apparent just how talented Yellow Days is; showcasing throught this EP, a unique mixture of raw emotion and technical expertise that will take him a long, long way.
