The Line of Best Fit
A huge sounding slice of soul splashed indie rock, “White Ink” is a glorious homage to the likes of Twin Shadow and Grizzly Bear.
Giant Party is the definition of genre-fluid. Mixing funk bass lines and falsetto vocals with heavy guitars and complex production the whole sound is somewhat akin to a really fucked up episode of Top Of The Pops. The lithe groove of their latest offering “White Ink” is a perfect demonstration of their irreverence towards genre conformity and, more importantly, a solid head banger.
“White Ink” is out 19 January via Label Fandango.
