Born and raised in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Tam Tam relocated to Los Angeles as a teen and began to document her life through compelling pop songwriting.
Drawing on the influences of her grandfathers, a doctor-slash-poet and a historian-slash-author, the art of storytelling is as central to Tam Tam's music as the blend of cultures that shaped her upbringing.
New track “Hiding” was inspired by the marked dichotomy tamtam noticed between the URL and the IRL. Calling out the enthusiastic Instagram posts from boring parties, “Hiding” is a commentary on the relative realities we view through social media, set to an effervescent pop soundtrack.
“Hiding” is out now.
