To a small amount of dedicated followers the return of Jensen Sportag matters the most. Their darkly mysterious disco is still some of the most revered in its field, despite ‘Bellz’ being their first new material since 2011.
Primed with a new full-length - set for release this Autumn via Cascine - the duo’s most-welcome return is a near five-minute ride through sumptuous, icy-cool synths and somewhat dazed vocals; all wrapped up in a dizzying glow that’s thrillingly alive but almost always just out-of-reach.
