Cinematic pop maestro Boy Epic rolls out the red carpet for debut single "Dirty Mind"
Dallas native Boy Epic welcomes you to the grand premiere of his cinematic new single "Dirty Mind".
Mixing immersive electro with moody pop and noir&B, Boy Epic makes a startlingly great debut - although he's dropped a few tracks over the past few years, this marks his first official foray into the world. "Dirty Mind" is the kind of brooding, destructive pop that The Weeknd threatens to make, teetering on the tightrope between lust and fury, with complex layers and an excellent use of dynamics boosting the song's innate power.
“Once I’d done some soul searching, I made the connection between my love for movies and my love for music, and that’s when it all started to come together for me,” says Boy Epic, adding that he hopes new single "Dirty Mind" will make people "close their eyes and feel like they’re listening to a movie."
A series of short films are set to accompany Boy Epic's music, which you can follow on his YouTube channel.
Boy Epic's debut record is expected in 2017.
