With their gorgeous new long-player Somewhere Else currently streaming in full over on Pitchfork Advance, Swedish duo Sally Shapiro offer up this great remix of album highlight ‘Starman’, that’s been morphed into a future pop banger by none other than Henning Fürst – former member of Gothenburg legends The Tough Alliance.

Having recently produced Taken By Trees’ spell-binding Other Worlds album, Fürst’s deft touch and sleek studio skills transform the synth heavy original from eighties pastiche to a slightly slower paced slice of progressive disco. The sunny exterior replaced with dark, late night undertones.
