“Demons” sees Alessandro Ciminata pursue the electronic direction explored on previous release “Last Call”.
“Demons” sets Ciminata’s haunting vocal to an almost blissful backdrop of glittering electronics, subtle guitar, and measured percussion. Where his lyrical content is less than optimistic, the track’s chorus circles back around like the sun breaking through clouds; soft and warm enough to bask in.
Traces of sadness run through much of Ciminata’s work, but his penchant for turning them into listenable - and in this case, uplifing - indie-pop is undeniable.
“Demons” is out now.
