Indie-pop fans will fall for the sing-along immediacy of TALU's "Change In The Winds"
TALU's airy, groovy indie-pop sits these British newcomers firmly alongside influential outfits such as Bombay Bicycle Club, Glass Animals, and Foals, as they release debut single "Change In The Winds".
There's a joy to the expectant predictability of great guitar-pop – being able to hum along to a chorus by the end of the song has never been a detriment. "Change In The Winds" sees TALU harness the warmth and immediacy of a sing-along favourite whilst pinning their personal quirks to the rich backdrop of synths. Arguably, the song's strongest moment is the deftly constructed intro, which promises a spark of excitement every time you press play.
Comprised of members of previous band Chenti, TALU took a year away to focus on new material. With "Change In The Winds" a triumphant introduction to the new project, we're excited to know what the future holds for this fresh three-piece.
