New Hot Chip record nearly finished

Having been busy with their various side projects from The 2 Bears to New Build, Alexis Taylor, Al Doyle, Felix Martin, Joe Goddard and Owen Clarke have revealed Hot Chip‘s next album is almost complete. Posting on Twitter this weekend Doyle said ” hot chip album update: we have one more song to record then we have enough songs and we’re gonna stop. Cannot wait to play them to y’all. al”

The release date and title of band’s fifth record, following on from 2010’s One Life Stand, is still under wraps but it is likely the final cut will include tracks entitled ‘Ends Of The Earth’ and ‘Look At Where We Are’.
