The Ramones logo designer Arturo Vega dies

The artistic director for legendary punk band The Ramones, Arturo Vega has passed away at the age of 65.
The San Francisco Bay Guardian report that Vega, who designed the band’s iconic logo, died on Saturday morning (8 June).
He is said to have been associated with the band for 22 years, later serving as their official archivist. Punk biographer and writer, Legs McNeil called the Mexican artist the most “optimistic, jubilant and fun pal anyone could wish for”.
