Phoenix detail new record Ti Amo and share lead single "J-Boy"
Phoenix rise with "J-Boy", the lead single track from their first album since 2013, Ti Amo.
The record follows Bankrupt! and details of it come after a prolonged period of teasing from the French troupe.
Ti Amo was recorded with Pierrick Devin at Paris' La Gaîté Lyrique. It's described by Phoenix as "an album about simple pure emotions: love, desire, lust, and innocence [and their] European, latin roots, a fantasized version of Italy: a lost paradise made of eternal Roman summers (hyper-light, hyper-clarity, pistachio gelato), juke-boxes on the beach, Monica Vitti and Marcello Mastroiani, fearless desire and Antique marble statues."
Phoenix have a massive series of world tour dates coming this summer - find out more.
