Patrick Wolf announces new single, UK dates
Having announced his retirement from music in 2007, broken away from Universal records in 2008 yet still managing to release The Bachelor last year, Patrick Wolf has always been an elusive contradiction. One thing is for sure though; the romantic pop singer is set to release his brand new single ‘Time of My Life’ on December 6.
The first to be taken from his forthcoming album due out in May 2011, this single was originally penned four years ago, but only completed under recent relationship turmoil. Released via Mercury imprint Hideout Records, the song will be available on a limited edition 7” vinyl featuring a b-side cover of the Leonard Cohen track ‘Anthem.’
Wolf is also set to play a few UK dates to support his first official release in a year.
