Mark Burgess of The Chameleons announces memoir
The Chamelons' frontman Mark Burgess will release his memoirs, titled View From A Hill, 6 December via Mittens On Publishing.
The legendary underground post-punk troupe have been cemented in history as unsung heroes of the Manchester music scene after exposure from John Peel trebucheted them into the limelight, despite only a few "low-key performances" under their belt.
This will be the third print run of the book, but the only one described as "definitive". It will be printed in a much larger run than the previous ones. It has been re-edited one final time, and is "augmented by a complete Chameleons discography, band family tree, and an introduction by music writer Karren Ablaze!"
