[Video] The Sound Of Arrows: 'Into The Clouds'

We posted about the sheer pop majesty of Stockholm duo The Sound Of Arrows back in December and their two singles ‘Danger’ and ‘Magic’ have been cropping up in TLOBF DJ sets ever since. Good news reached me yesterday when I discovered the pair (signed to the highly influential Labrador Records in their native Sweden) had actually upped roots and moved to London to sign a new management deal and make the finishing touches to their as yet untitled debut album.

The new single ‘Into The Clouds’ which gets its release on September 21st follows on the from the mission statement of the first two singles, ie: bloody amazing widescreen pop music. Yes, it’s camp and yes it’s over-produced but never could this be called a guilty pleasure. This is the kind of music that should be dominating the pop charts right now, and with any luck – by the end of the year, the mission will be complete. Go Sound Of Arrows!
