Watch post-punk darlings Shame play a stripped down session

23 November 2017, 15:14 | Written by Sebastien Dehesdin

Watch the quintet play "Tasteless" with a little help from a friend during a secret show at End of the Road Festival.

"Tasteless" is described by Shame's frontman Charlie Steen as being about "protesting against people's constant acceptance and indifference towards deeply troubling issues within society as well as politics, only seeming to care when it is something that will affect them."

It's a fierce three-minute rendition of the song that the outfit played for a wet but happy End of the Road crowd, during one of the secret shows that the festival is known for.

Songs Of Praise is out 12 January 2018 via Dead Oceans.
Shame have embarked on a huge world tour - full dates on their website.
