Westerman unveils new cut "Take"
Westerman has released new cut "Take" as a third outing from his forthcoming second album An Inbuilt Fault.
"Take" will appear on Westerman's second album with previous singles "CSI: Petralona" and "Idol; RE-run", and lands with a video directed and animated by Edwin Burdis.
Westerman explains that the new release is "a selfish song glimpsed momentarily somewhere through the haze of the mesh and the swarm. Taking breaks the heart of love."
An Inbuilt Fault will follow Westerman's 2020 debut album Your Hero Is Not Dead, and saw him flesh out some demos recorded in Italy across 2020 and 2021 with Big Thief's James Krivchenia after meeting him at a London show.
Just yesterday (21 March) Westerman contributed backing vocals to Mega Bog's "Love Is".
"Take" is out now. Westerman's An Inbuilt Fault album will be released on 5 May via Partisan Records and Play It Again Sam, and is available to pre-order now.
