Unknown Mortal Orchestra release new cut "Nadja"
Unknown Mortal Orchestra have unveiled a third cut from their upcoming double album V titled "Nadja".
After announcing V with "Layla" at the start of this month, Unknown Mortal Orchestra have shared another new outing from their double album titled "Nadja", which is accompanied by a VIRA-LATA-directed video.
V will follow Unknown Mortal Orchestra's 2018 album Sex & Food, and will also include last year's "I Killed Captain Cook" single.
Lead vocalist Ruban Nielson says of the album, which was created between Palm Springs, California and Hilo, Hawaii, "In Hawaii, everything shifted off of me and my music. Suddenly, I was spending more time figuring out what others need and what my role is within my family. I also learned that things I thought were true of myself are bigger than I thought. My way of making mischief - that’s not just me - that’s my whole Polynesian side. I thought I was walking away from music to focus on family, but the two ended up connecting."
"Nadja" is out now. Unknown Mortal Orchestra's V album will arrive via Jagjaguwar on 17 March, and is available to pre-order now.
