Troye Sivan covers Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For?” in the Live Lounge
In the midst of a promotional run for his forthcoming album, Something To Give Each Other, Troye Sivan stopped by BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge.
BBC's Live Lounge month will see them air a new brand performance every day mid-week between Mondays and Thursdays for the entirety of October.
Alongside a soulful version of "Rush" – the lead single from his forthcoming third studio album, Something To Give Each Other – Sivan tackled the iconic Billie Eilish number, "What Was I Made For?" which features on the soundtrack to Greta Gerwig's Barbie movie.
Sivan recently shared a PinkPantheress remix of "Rush", as well as "Got Me Started" – the second single from Something To Give Each Other. Produced by Ian Kirkpatrick, who co-wrote and produced Dua Lipa’s “New Rules” and “Don’t Start Now”, as well as Selena Gomez’s “Bad Liar", “Got Me Started” samples “Shooting Stars” from Australian electronic duo Bag Raiders. The track was co-written with Kirkpatrick, Leland, Tayla Parx and Kaelyn Behr.
Earlier this year, Troye Sivan starred in the HBO drama series The Idol, which was created by The Weeknd and Sam Levinson. He also covered George Harrison's "My Sweet Lord" for the finale of the series.
Something To Give Each Other is set for release on 13 October via EMI Music Australia. Pre-orders are available now.
