Three Quarter Skies return with the brand new single, "Crows"
Three Quarter Skies – the new band formed by Simon Scott from Slowdive – have joined forces with Dave Pearce of Flying Saucer Attack on their new single "Crows".
The single is first new material since last year’s acclaimed debut EP Universal Flames and their most recent release, "Holy Water". Dave Pearce from Flying Saucer Attack helped out with the mixing, after getting in touch with Simon when he put 1995’s classic Further in a list of ‘essential shoegaze albums’ for a magazine. They are now working on more tracks together and an album will follow later this year.
“It is vivid and surreal,” says Simon Scott of the song. “It’s inspired by witnessing my parents die, basically. It’s the most personal song I’ve ever written.”
"Crows" is out now.
