The Tallest Man On Earth shares new album title-track "Henry St."
The Tallest Man On Earth has shared "Henry St.", the title-track and second outing from his upcoming album.
After announcing his Henry St. album with the lead single "Every Little Heart" last month, The Tallest Man On Earth has delivered the album's title-track "Henry St.", which arrives with a Jeroen Dankers-directed video.
The Tallest Man On Earth, real name Kristian Matsson, says the new single is about "how to be a person in this world." He adds, "As individuals, we’re told that we should strive for success. But when we have it, it doesn’t solve anything. The song is about stepping away and thinking: why am I actually doing this? It’s the low point and the turnaround: the other songs are a reminder that I will always be a stubborn optimist, even at the darkest of times."
Henry St. will follow 2019's I Love You, It’s a Fever Dream, and is produced by Sylvan Esso's Nick Sanborn. The album also features contributions from Ryan Gustafson (guitar, lap steel, ukulele), TJ Maiani (drums), CJ Camerieri of Bon Iver (trumpet, French horn), Phil Cook (piano, organ), Rob Moose of Bon Iver, yMusic (strings) and Adam Schatz (saxophone).
"Henry St." is out now. The Tallest Man On Earth's Henry St. album will be released on 14 April via ANTI-, and is available to pre-order now.
