In the lead up to the release of 1989 (Taylor's Version), Google have launched a Taylor Swift puzzle, which has led Swifties to believe a collaboration with Nicki Minaj may be on the way.

Yesterday evening, Google launched the new pop-up animation which celebrates the forthcoming release of Swift's fourth album to be re-recorded, and allows fans to try and decrypt the Vault tracks. When she announced 1989 (Taylor's Version) last month, she wrote: "To be perfectly honest, this is my most FAVORITE re-record I’ve ever done because the 5 From The Vault tracks are so insane."

Now, by searching Swift's name into Google's search engine, a choice of 89 puzzles allow fans to unscramble words, to find clues for the forthcoming release. Sharing the game on her socials, Swift wrotre: "You can tell me when the *search* is over… if the high was worth the pain 😎,” a reference to “Blank Space", taken from the original 1989.

As lovers of the easter eggs that Swift has consistently provided with all of her releases, fans have spotted that one of the answers to the puzzle is "Sagittarius". At the MTV Video Music Awards, Swift accepted an award from Nicki Minaj, for Best Directing ("Anti-Hero") and said "That's my favourite Sagittarius over there," which has sent both Swifties and Barbz's into a frenzy.

When quote tweeting a post celebrating herself and Swift as the only female artists in Billboard chart history to place over 100 entries on the Hot 100, Minaj wrote: “Fighting the urge to say Sagittarius tingz right now so bad." Earlier this year, she also tweeted, “Dear Barbz, it must be exhausting always rooting for the Anti-hero,” as a reference to both herself, and the track which features on Swift's 2022 album, Midnights.

Eagle-eyed fans have spotted that Nicki Minaj is due to go live on her show, Queen Radio today at 1:38 AM EST, which is the exact same time originally featured in Swift's “I Can See You” music video.

The pair have previously performed together at the 2015 MTV VMA's, sharing a medley of Minaj’s “Trini Dem Girls” and “The Night Is Still Young” as well as Swift’s “Bad Blood”.

At the MTV VMA's Nicki Minaj debuted a song from her forthcoming album, Pink Friday 2, which is set for release on 17 November.
