Taylor Swift says she plans to play different songs in acoustic section at every show on The Eras Tour
During the opening night of The Eras Tour last Friday (17 March), Taylor Swift revealed that she plans to surprise fans with different songs each night during the acoustic section of the show.
Last Friday, 17 March, Taylor Swift kicked off The Eras Tour in Glendale, Arizona, which was temporarily renamed as Swift City especially for the shows, and the 44-song setlist featured over 10 live debuts from her Midnights, evermore and Lover albums, as well as a surprise acoustic section.
Swift played an acoustic version of folklore's "mirrorball" on the opening night, and explained to the crowd that she plans to switch up the songs during that section at every tour date. Swift said, "So my plan - who knows if i'll stick to it - but the plan, the goal, would be to play different songs every single night and never repeat one."
For the second show in Glendale on Saturday (18 March), Swift treated fans to an acoustic version of "this is me trying" and "State of Grace".
