
Taylor Swift adds Griff, METTE and Benson Boone to The Eras Tour in London
Taylor Swift has announced a trio of openers for the first batch of London dates on The Eras Tour.
Taylor Swift took to her Instagram Stories to announce that in celebration of "Fortnight" reaching number one on UK airplay charts, she's thanking fans by letting them know the openers of the first leg of London shows on The Eras Tour alongside Paramore.
"You guys are amazing and I can't wait to see you so soon," she wrote. "Thought this might be a fun time to announce the first group of opening acts I'll be adding to the London shows, going on before Paramore."
"I chose artists whose music I love listening to, and I can't wait for them to add an extra jolt of excitement to our shows at Wembley Stadium in June," she continued, before announcing that METTE, Griff and Benson Boone will be joining her.
"It’s a new ERA for ya girl… Opening the “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour” on June 21st at Wembley Stadium in London," METTE wrote, announcing the news. "Never been so excited in my entire life!!!" Meanwhile, Griff wrote: If you know me you know this might be one of the most surreal things to say but TAYLOR SWIFT HAS INVITED ME ON THE ERAS TOUR!!!!!!!!!! 8 yr old me who had fearless on repeat wouldn’t believe this. So unbelievably grateful to Taylor for all the love she’s shown me and my music."
The forthcoming London dates on The Eras Tour take place from 21-23 June.
