
Tame Impala's Kevin Parker fractures hip, plans to carry on with tour
Kevin Parker of Tame Impala has revealed that he's fractured his hip, but has vowed to continue with his upcoming tour dates.
Earlier today (9 March) on Instagram, Tame Impala's Kevin Parker shared an update revealing that he fractured his hip while attempting to run a half marathon. He wrote, "Tried to run a half marathon on what turned out to be an existing stress fracture. Whoops. Made it to within 1km of the finish line. That’s life I guess."
He also assured fans that his upcoming tour dates will go ahead, adding, "All shows in Mexico and South America going ahead as planned I’m not quitting on you guys."
Tame Impala's next show is tomorrow, 10 March in Mexico City.
